This space has been incredibly quiet since our toes sunk into the sand of beautiful Okinawa! It has been a whirlwind 7 weeks~adjusting to a major time change, finding an apartment that we could squeeze our family in to, learning how to drive on the left side of the road while driving in the right side of the car…..and those are just a few of the wild shifts that have taken place! But we are here and we have fallen desperately in love with this island and the people that inhabit it.

I have lots to share with you. New recipes, amazing spots we have visited, how I made 900 square feet work for our family of 5, what the kids are up to this school year, and all of the comedic fun that comes from living where you don’t speak the language! It will be a fun ride!

For all our friends and family stateside, we LOVE and MISS you more than time changes and life allow us to tell you. Our door is always open and we can promise endless adventures…..who’s up for a visit!?!

And to those of you who just peek in on our life, welcome back! I hope these next few years of blogging in Okinawa will inspire you to say yes to all of the adventures, both in family and life!
